Full Day Hikes Overview
Our full day hikes will tackle trails that range from 7-11 miles, and will include anywhere from 1200-2000+ elevation gain. These hikes are for more experienced hikers who are looking to get some miles and elevation throughout their hikes.
Things to Look for on your hike
While we cannot guarantee anything on trail, some things to look for while hiking are:
Mountain views
Wildlife
Deer, Birds, Snakes, Squirrels, and even bears!
Beautiful wildflowers and trees
Glacially formed water features
What you need to bring on your hike
Hiking boots, while preferred, can be substituted for closed toed sneakers. Just don't wear shoes you don't mind getting a little dirty!
Rain Jacket. As long as there is no lightning the hike will continue as planned.
Water. 2 liters is recommended, which is the equivalent to 4 normal-sized water bottle
Any medications that you may need to take

What's included in your full day hike
Guidance from an experienced guide
Lunch and trail snacks
Bug Spray and Sunscreen
Any parking and trail admittance fees
Your guide will also carry extra water, a first aid kit
Logistics
Your guide will connect with you the day before and establish a meeting time, typically about 8 am, which will involve you getting on the PATH to New Jersey. Your guide will pick you up from the path and drive you anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes to the trailhead. From there, the hikes can last from 4-6 hours. The guide will then drop you back off at the PATH station. Full day hikes typically get back to the path around 3-5 o'clock.
Cost for Full Day hike
250 per hiker, with a 2 person minimum to run the hike
